1/4. Gir National Park And Sanctuary, Gujarat :-

Why Visit?

Gir National Park is the core area of the sanctuary. Spread over 1,412 square kilometers, this forest is home to more than 600 plus lions. The Forest Department takes care of Sasan Gir. The safari is organized thrice in a day. The place where Asiatic lions roam freely in the jungle and visitors can spot them easily.

Best Time to Visit: October to June

How To Reach: The nearest railway stations are Junagadh about 60 km and Veraval, about 45 km away. The closest airport is Keshod (60 km), Diu (100 km) , Rajkot (160 km) , Ahmedabad (370). 

2/4. Devaliya Park, Gujarat :-

Why Visit?

Also known as the Devalia Safari Park, this park is a fenced area.The Jeep safari is a closed-enclosure safari that takes you into park. Devalia has a better chance of spotting a lion as it is a controlled limited area.

Best Time to Visit: Park open whole year. So you can visit any time but do not forget to advance booking for safari. Park remains closed on every Wednesday.

3/4. Etawah Lion Safari Park, Uttar Pradesh :-

Why Visit?

The Etawah Lion Safari opened to the public in 2020. The park was established for Asiatic lions It spans over 350 hectares, where Asiatic lions roam freely.

Best Time to Visit: October to March

How To Reach: Etawah is well connected by Road and Rail. The nearest railway stations Is Etawah Junction.

4/4. Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Maharashtra :-

Why Visit?

The Sanjay Gandhi National Park offers a exciting lion safari, where visitors can easily spot majestic Asiatic lions.

Best Time to Visit: May to Oct

How To Reach: Park is well connected by Road and Rail. The nearest railway stations Is Borivali Junction.
