After breakfast drive to Bharatpur En-route Fatehpur Sikri - the extraordinary city built by Akbar the Great, deserted 14 years later, but which, during its brief span, exceeded London in both grandeur and population. After visit continue drive to Bharatpur. The city of Bharatpur was founded in 1733 and served as the capital of the Jat kingdom since the 15th century. It is home to the most respected royal family in Rajasthan and was a princely state. It is also the winter home of the endangered Siberian cranes, which travel over the city while migrating toward warmer climes. Arrive & check in at hotel. Later visit the Keoladeo national park. We embark on a tour of the city’s most well-known attraction - the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, better known as the Bharatpur sanctuary. After breakfast drive to Gwalior on arrival transfer to hotel & check In. later visit Gwalior fort- Gwalior Fort is one of the main attractions of the Gwalior city Located on the hill right in the middle of the city. After breakfast drive to Ranthambore En-route Fatehpur Sikri - the extraordinary city built by Akbar the Great, deserted 14 years later, but which, during its brief span, exceeded London in both grandeur and population. After visit continue drive to Ranthambore. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore is one of the protected forests of India. It was the erstwhile hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Jaipur until 1955 when it was declared as a game sanctuary. Arrive & check in at hotel. Later proceed for safari. The Ranthambore Forest Reserve is home to the great Indian tiger. Other than the tiger, the Ranthambore forest has manyother wild attractions like theleopard, nilgai, sambar and chital. This morning after breakfast first you will visit old Delhi. The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple are of much significance. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 - Delhi to Jaipur

Day 4 - Jaipur City Tour


This morning after breakfast visit the Amber fort, built in 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. At Sun-rise then come back hotel have breakfast and after some rest check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Elephant Conservation and Care Center is Located at Mathura, near our bear rescue center, is the Elephant Conservation and Care Center.

“Elephant Conservation and Care Center” is a project of Wildlife SOS, created in 2010 in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department to rehabilitate severely abused captive elephants in distress. All the elephants housed at the center have shocking stories of the situations they had to be rescued from. Here, several elephants that used to spend their days doing hard work in often harsh conditions are living out their retirement years in peace and safety. No longer forced to bear heavy loads, or walk on hot pavement, these majestic creatures are finally able to spend their days happily, with frequent baths, a nutritious diet, and good veterinary care.

The Elephant Conservation and Care Center currently houses 20 elephants which includes 12 females and 8 male elephants. The center is full of natural vegetation with enough open fields around for their daily walks and several trees available to scratch themselves, thus making it closest to the natural habitat of the elephants. Water pools have been provided to the elephants with the free access for them to bath and play in the water, at will. and after that drive back to Delhi and transfer to hotel/airport. End of Tour.

QUTUB MINAR


The origins of Qutab Minar are shrouded in controversy. Some believe it was erected as a tower of victory to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. Others say it served as a minaret to the muezzins to call the faithful to prayer. No one can, however, dispute that the tower is not only one of the finest monuments in India, but also in the world.

RED FORT


So called because of the red stone with which it is built, the Red Fort is one of the most magnificent palaces in the world. India's history is also closely linked with this fort. It was frorth here ht the British deposed the last Mughal ruler, Bhadur Shah Zafar, marking the end of the three century long Mughal rule. It was also fromits ramparts that the first prime. Minister of India, pandit Jawharlal Nehru, announced to the nation that India was free form colonial rule.

HUMAYUN'S TOMB


The mughals brought with them a love for gardens, fountains and water. The first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, Humayun's Tomb was built by the emperor's grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Constructed with red sandstone and ornamented marks the beginning of a new tradition of ornate style which culminated in the Taj Mahal of Agra.

JANTAR MANTAR


At first sight, the Jantar Mantar appears like a gallery of modern art. It is, however, an observatory. Sawai Jia Singh II of Jaipur (1699-1743), a keen astronomer and a noble in the Mughal court, was dissatisfied by the errors of brass and metal astronomical instruments.

Under patronage from the emperor, he set on himself the task of correcting the existing astronomical tables and updating the almanac with more reliable instruments. Delhi's Jantar Mantar is the first of the five observatories that he built with large masonary instruments.

JAMA MASJID


Work on the Jama Masjid mosque was begun in 1650 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to complement his palace at the Red Fort.

INDIA GATE


Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. Located on Rajpath, the road which leads to the magnificent Rashtrapati Bhawan, the gate is 160 feet high with an arch of 138 feet.

RAJGHAT


The mortal remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated on this spot on the west bank of the river Yamuna on the evening of January 31, 1948. A simple open platform inscribed with the Mahatma's last words, 'Hey Ram' (Oh God) is set in a garden with fountains and a variety of exotic trees.

Amber Fort, set on a hilltop just outside Jaipur town. You'll climb up on the back of an Elephant to reach the palace. The reflection of the Amber Fort is superbly mirrored within the lake below. Inside the Fort contains the noted Jai Mandir (Temple) with its world-famous hall of mirrors, Sheesh Mahal. All walls and also the ceiling of this room are lined with a stunning array of mirrors that reflects everything falls upon, to illuminate the whole room.

01:30 PM - Visit Jal Mahal.


The stunning "Water Palace" is located at the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Four out of five storeys of the palace are placed underwater. The lake is usually dry in the summer however winter monsoons usually turn it into a stunning lake full of water hyacinths.

Hawa Mahal is clearly the synonym for Jaipur. Built in 1799 A.D., Palace of Winds is counted amongstthe major Rajput landmarks. This five-storey building is located on the main market of the old town is anarchitectural masterpiece with 953 finely constructed windows. It was originally planned to allow the royal ladies to look at the daily life and royal processions within the town - in absolute privacy.
